If that’s not enough, your skin has a natural moisture-retaining compound called hyaluronic acid (HA) that inevitably declines with age which correlates with the appearance of wrinkles.

HA is found in synovial fluid (present in joints), the umbilical cord, the body of the eye (vitreous humor), foetal skin and in the deeper layers of our skin. It is able to hold more water than any other natural substance and is one of the three crucial skin components along with collagen and elastin. The water-holding properties of HA makes it a well known moisturising ingredient found in many proprietary anti-ageing creams.

The unfortunate but inevitable moisture loss creates lines and folds around your lips and nose and reduces fullness around your cheeks, jaw and lips. All of these effects give us an older,
more tired look.

Lost HA can be replaced with an injection of manufactured HA dermal filler, moisturising your skin from the inside, increasing elasticity and tone. It can quickly restore your skin’s lost volume, filling and smoothing away those facial lines. Clinical experience has shown that the results with some HA fillers have only lasted a few months and some formulations occasionally resulted in lumpy, uneven results.

Skin Deep Rejuvenation Therapies use a new generation of dermal fillers offering an excellent safety profile, non-animal sourced HA, longer lasting formulations (9 to 12 months, sometimes longer) with less inflammation, pain and swelling on injecting. It is a natural, biodegradable gel that flows easily and smoothly into your skin, instantly filling out lines and adding volume. We are now able to offer Teosyal Meso and Restylane Vital which intensively hydrates the skin and reduces the appearance of wrinkles treating the difficult to reach areas such as the neck, decolletage.

Following an initial consultation to discuss your areas your areas of concern, medical history and general health, the actual treatment takes from 15 to 30 minutes. We always offer topical and local anaesthetic although the product is injected with a very fine needle, you may only feel a brief sting, if anything at all.

Our products of choice are from the Teosyal and Restylane range. They come in 0.5ml and 1ml pre-filled syringes. We have found these to offer the safety, longevity and versatility to suit our client’s expectations and needs.
