Medical Microdermabrasion

Medical microdermabrasion is a powerful system not to be confused with the type of machines used within the beauty sector.  It has been used with immense success for nearly 2 decades in Europe and is one of the most popular non-surgical aesthetic treatments in America.

Patients have embraced microdermabrasion because it is an effective skin rejuvenation procedure that requires no downtime, allowing them to resume normal activities immediately after the procedure. The procedure has been extremely popular because it is painless, predictable and a true lunch-hour treatment with minimal erythema, oedema or irritation.

The procedure has proven to be clinically effective to treat or diminish:

   · Dry or Patchy Skin
   · Oily Skin
   · Fine Lines and Wrinkles
   · Sun Damaged Skin
   · Hyperpigmentation
   · Superficial Age Spots
   · Acne Prone Skin and Acne Scars
   · Blackheads & Whiteheads

Benefits:

   · Non-Invasive
   · Virtually Painless
   · No Recovery Time
   · No Chemicals
   · Minimal Risk
   · No Anesthesia Required
   · Treats All Skin Types
   · Instant Gratification and Effect
   · Promotes New Collagen Generation

Medical microdermabrasion uses a highly controlled flow of medical grade sodium bicarbonate or aluminum oxide crystals that are vacuumed across the skin's surface at the perfect angle (45 degrees) to remove the outermost layer of skin by exfoliation.  This exfoliation process exposes living skin cells that are soft, smooth and receptive to nutrients applied immediately post procedure. Collagen production is increased leading to a thicker dermis improving resistance to ageing.

The average microdermabrasion treatment takes less than 30 minutes depending upon the skin’s condition, the area to be treated ad the desired outcome.  Most clients feel and see a difference in the texture and appearance of their skin after just one or 2 treatments.  Long term benefits of a course of treatments combined with skin peels can be remarkable.
